Prepare your stay

The pre-anesthesia consultation

The date of your hospitalization is set by the surgeon.
If you are due to undergo surgery under anesthesia, you will need a pre-anesthesia consultation 3 weeks before the operation. This mandatory consultation will be carried out at the Clinique Belledonne.
You can get a consultation appointment either by calling the secretariat of the Department of Anesthesia, Resuscitation of the clinic.

Prepare your admission

On the day of the pre-anesthesia consultation, you must bring your admission file that was given to you by the surgeon or that you will have downloaded and completed: Admission file

The day before

If a surgical intervention is scheduled on the day of your admission, you should take a shower at home the day before your entry and the same morning, using the antiseptic soap prescribed by the doctor and following the following instructions: The pre-operative shower.

Your hospitalization

Your entry to the clinic

On the day of your admission, you must bring with you:

  • your identity document,
  • your family record book for minor children,
  • your vital card,
  • coverage from your mutual insurance company indicating the reimbursement rate for services, daily rate, private room and participation insured or, failing that, your membership card.

But also, if you are concerned:

  • Work accident declaration and treatment sheet,
  • CMU document,
  • Prior agreement,
  • Authorization to operate (for minors),
  • 100% coverage (for IVF,)

Your comfort

During your hospitalization, services are made available to you to ensure maximum comfort:

  • Bedroom :
    If you want a single room, you must request it before your hospitalization. It will be allocated to you based on availability at the time of your admission.
  • The accompanying persons:
    The presence of an accompanying person is authorized in the private rooms. Meals and bed are at your expense and will be billed to you on the day of your exit.
  • Meals :
    You will be able to compose your menu thanks to a menu that will be offered to you every day. The clinic’s dietitian will be able to adapt your menus according to the diet prescribed for you.
  • The visits :
    Unless otherwise justified by your state of health, visits are authorized from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
    Calm is necessary for patients to rest, which is why we limit visits to two people in the room.
    In the intensive care unit, a brief visit by one person per patient is permitted.
  • Telephone, television and internet access:
    All rooms are equipped with telephones and televisions.
    The opening of your telephone line, TV subscription and internet access must be requested on the day of your admission.
    You will be able to receive outside telephone calls directly between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
    Please note that the telephone line will be disabled on the day of departure at 9 a.m.
  • Valuables:
    It is strongly recommended that you do not bring jewelry, valuables and cash during your hospitalization.
